Poured in green antifreeze in the Lexus when it should have been red, it didn't help the problem slightly.

Good to know I can't fix my own damn car.

Isn't all non-factory coolant green? I thought it was...

Green + Red = Brown sludge of doom.

No big deal, really. Just find out the OEM coolant, grab your drain pan and do a basic coolant flush. Just grab a sharpie and write the coolant color on the overflow tank for the future, and dont sweat it.

It took me 2 hours to swap my rear wiper arm today. One hour using the methods I was told by other Magnum owners, and another hour in the parts store parking lot with the correct tool. Could have been done in about 15 minutes if I had thought the whole process through the first time, but it got done. Basically unscrew the retaining nut enough to cup the wiper arm removal tool so it doesnt slip off, and also grab a big set of pliers to grab and turn the threaded rod if required. My old wiper arm was seriously rusted into place. But I went through all that because I didnt want my dad screwing around with it and potentially breaking the wiper motor. Hes pretty good at causing collateral damage for basic things like this anyway.

Just step back and think about what you took away from the experience, and use that in the future.

So green is ok as long as you do a complete flush

should be ok. If it takes World Standard coolant though, you have to use that.

I went through that process with a Honda CR-V once... Got to the point where I was looking up how much it would be to replace the entire assembly as I figured it would be easier to just do that.
